1. Who we are
Ivory Hotels and SOY Restaurant & Cafe operate at Lebanon, Opposite Mash Poa, Mombasa, Kenya, part of Armaan Restaurants. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019. 2. What we collect
When you complete the booking form on /stay, we collect the full name, email address, phone number, requested check-in and check-out dates, room type, guest count, and any special requests you enter. When you complete the reservation form on /dine, we collect your full name, phone number, an optional email address, the requested date and time, party size, seating preference, and any special requests. We do not collect payment details on this site.
3. Why we collect it
We use this information solely to respond to and honour your booking or reservation. That means emailing your details to the relevant front-desk mailbox and, at your option, opening a pre-filled WhatsApp thread with our team so we can confirm the request.
4. Who else sees your data
Your submitted details are transmitted through Resend, our transactional email provider, on the way to our front-desk inbox. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. If you have chosen to open a WhatsApp thread with us, the WhatsApp Messenger service will process that message under its own terms.
5. How long we keep it
Booking and reservation records live in the email inbox they were delivered to; retention there follows our internal record-keeping policy. TODO: name the retention period once operations have confirmed it (e.g. 24 months after the stay, per hospitality-industry practice).
6. Cookies and analytics
This site uses only strictly necessary cookies to keep the interface working. If we enable Google Analytics (via NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_ID) we will update this section to name the cookies set and to add a consent control. Until then, no analytics or advertising cookies are placed.
7. Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To exercise these rights, contact us via the details in the closing section. We aim to respond within 30 days.
